Illinois High School Basketball - Niles North nips Plainfield Central

Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 50-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Niles North upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL) to play the Blue Demons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Plainfield Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
