South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA), 47-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Pasadena upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to South Hills (West Covina, CA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Highlanders play the Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Royal will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Centurions come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 52-37 non-league loss to Canyon (Anaheim, CA).
