The Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA) basketball nipped the host Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA), 50-49 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Rams (19-0) will now prepare for their test against Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Chiefs go into the non-league test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Natchitoches Central was tipped by Walker (Walker, LA), 55-35, in a non-league test.

The Green Wave now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sparkman for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4.
