The Seguin Matadors basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Bellville Brahmas to 40 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Matadors now sport a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schulenburg for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Seguin will meet a Shorthorns team coming off a 40-36 league loss to Louise (Louise, TX). The Shorthorns record now stands at 3-16.
The Brahmas (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX). The Shorthorns enter the non-league contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Schulenburg was outscored by Louise (Louise, TX), 40-36, in a league contest.
