In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), by a count of 61-39.

The Bengals (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Hackensack bounced Rahway (Rahway, NJ), 52-51, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Comets play the Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Hillside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 52-51 non-league loss to Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ).
