The Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) basketball crushed the visiting Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO), 82-34 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Fort Smith, AR). The Grizzlies go into the non-league test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Northside walloped El Dorado Springs (El Dorado Springs, MO), 50-31, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Carthage will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 62-32 non-league loss to Waynesville (Waynesville, MO). The Bison record now stands at 2-5.
