The Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX), 43-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bluecats (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Roscoe (Roscoe, TX). The Plowboys go into the 2A Region I District 8 test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Roscoe went down by Garden City (Garden City, TX), 37-34, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dublin for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Valley Mills will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 34-29 league win over Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-10.
