In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) basketball squad prevailed the host Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), by a count of 62-48.

With the win, Concord Academy upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Freedom won 63-62 in their recent non-league bout against Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC)
