Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA) and the host Cranberry Area Berries (Seneca, PA), saw Franklin's basketball squad wallop Cranberry Area by a tally of 51-15.

With the victory, Franklin improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Erie (Erie, PA) to confront the Royals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Erie won 64-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Eisenhower (Russell, PA)

Next up, the Berries confront the Keystone Panthers (Knox, PA) in a Keystone Shortway challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Cranberry Area will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
