North Carolina High School Basketball - Person crushes Dan River

December 27, 2023: Roxboro, NC 27573

Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), 52-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Person upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Rockets travel to Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC) to play the Fighting Red Wolves in a 3A Central bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Fighting Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Cedar Ridge lost 43-33 in their recent non-league bout against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Dan River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 60-40 non-league loss to Halifax County (South Boston, VA).
