With the win, Westbrook-Walnut Grove upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Chargers travel to Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN) to clash with the Falcons in a A Section 3 bout on Thursday, January 4. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Blackjacks clash with the Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Dawson-Boyd will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 60-29 non-league loss to Minneota (Minneota, MN).
