The Livingston Lancers basketball team (Livingston, NJ), was nudged 42-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ)
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillside for a Union County - Valley battle on Thursday, January 4. Dayton will battle a Comets team coming off a 56-21 non-league loss to Johnson (Clark, NJ). The Comets record now stands at 1-3.
The Lancers (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ). The Marauders come into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Mount Olive was nudged by Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ), 34-28, in a non-league battle.
