Wilcox RVT Wildcats (Meriden, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), 58-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilcox RVT upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT) to play the Owls in a Connecticut Technical bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Whitney RVT lost 59-15 in their recent non-league bout against Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) in a Connecticut Technical bout, on Friday, December 29. Goodwin Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 55-17 non-league loss to Wamogo (Litchfield, CT).
