Lincoln Lions (Jersey City, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers (Newark, NJ), 37-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Lions host Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Elmwood Park won 52-17 in their recent non-league bout against People's Prep (Newark, NJ)

Next up, the Panthers play the Snyder Tigers (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Newark Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 52-19 non-league loss to Irvington (Irvington, NJ).
