Texas High School Basketball - McKinney North tops Plano West

December 27, 2023: McKinney, TX 75071

McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX), 47-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McKinney North improves its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Princeton (Princeton, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 5A Region II District 13 battle on Tuesday, January 2. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 14-7. Princeton won 51-46 in their recent non-league battle against White (Dallas, TX)

The Wolves (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Memorial beat Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX), 66-33, in a league battle.
