Minneota Vikings (Minneota, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN), 67-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Minneota upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 10-0. Sleepy Eye won 92-27 in their recent league bout against Nicollet (Nicollet, MN)

Next up, the Cyclones play the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) in a AA Section 2 bout, on Thursday, January 4. St. Clair will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 62-52 non-league loss to Lourdes (Rochester, MN).
