California High School Basketball - Newport - Bellevue edges Rolling Hills Prep

The Newport - Bellevue Knights (Bellevue, WA) basketball nipped the host Rolling Hills Prep Huskies (San Pedro, CA), 49-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Oceanside (Oceanside, CA). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Oceanside was tipped by Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), 55-36, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Margarita for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Rolling Hills Prep will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-36 non-league win over Oceanside (Oceanside, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-4.
