Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sayre ripped by Northwest Area

The Northwest Area Rangers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Sayre Redskins to 29 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rangers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benton for a Mid-Penn - D4 contest on Wednesday, January 3.

The Redskins (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA). The Mountie enter the Northern Tier - Small contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, North Penn-Liberty was routed by Canton (Canton, PA), 36-27, in a league contest.
