The Oakton Cougars basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Unity Reed Lions to 17 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Justice for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Oakton will battle a Wolves team coming off a 43-40 league win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-3.
The Lions (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Statesmen come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, George C. Marshall was routed by Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA), 72-25, in a non-league contest.
