The Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Panther Valley Panthers to 37 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weatherly for a Schuylkill County 3 contest on Thursday, December 28. Schuylkill Haven will battle a team coming off a 61-13 league loss to Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA). The record now stands at 1-5.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pottsville (Pottsville, PA). The Crimson Tide come into the Schuylkill County 1 contest with a 1-2 record.
