Rogers Mountaineers (Rogers, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parkview Patriots (Little Rock, AR), 60-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rogers upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Mountaineers host Northside (Fort Smith, AR) to clash with the Grizzlies in a 6A West bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 12-2.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Jacksonville Titans (Jacksonville, AR) in a 5A Central bout, on Friday, January 5. Parkview will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record.
