In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Southern Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 54-41 triumph over the Queen Anne's County Lions.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 28. Southern will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 57-19 non-league win over Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD).
