North Carolina High School Basketball - West Johnston trounces Riverside-Durham

December 27, 2023: Benson, NC 27504

The West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC), 47-24 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC). The Gryphons go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Rocky Mount walloped Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 53-37, in a non-league test.

The Pirates now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fuquay - Varina for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Riverside-Durham will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 53-37 non-league loss to Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 1-10.
