Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA), 50-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Argonaut upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Fortune Early College lost 73-48 in their recent non-league bout against Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Pacheco Panthers (Los Banos, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Orestimba will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 43-21 non-league win over Gustine (Gustine, CA).
