The Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA) basketball nipped the host Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA), 75-71 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Gaels (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA). The Bells go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Bellarmine College Prep got by Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA), 67-55, in a non-league test.
The Jayhawks now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Christian for a contest on Friday, January 5. Head-Royce will battle a Vikings team coming off a 41-40 non-league win over Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
