North Carolina High School Basketball - Lexington can't hold off Winston-Salem Prep

The Lexington Yellowjackets basketball team (Lexington, NC), was nudged 43-41 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Phoenix now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Winston-Salem Prep will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 64-49 non-league win over T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-1.

The Yellowjackets (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, West Davidson was tipped by Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 50-36, in a non-league outing.
