The Panther Creek Catamounts basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Sanderson Spartans to 31 in the Catamounts non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Catamounts now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Wake for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Panther Creek will meet a Warriors team coming off a 60-54 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Broughton was defeated by East Wake (Wendell, NC), 60-54, in a non-league contest.
