The Longhorns (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, San Angelo Central prevailed over Temple (Temple, TX), 71-70, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Waco Lions (Waco, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. A&M Consolidated will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 54-41 non-league win over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX).
