The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cardinal Mooney Catholic Cardinals (Marine City, MI) and the visiting Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI), observed Cardinal Mooney Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Algonac by a score of 72-49.

The Cardinals (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Clintondale (Clinton Township, MI). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Clintondale was routed by Center Line (Center Line, MI), 75-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Muskrats encounter the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI) in a Blue Water Area challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Algonac will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
