Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mentor defeats Aliquippa

The Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) basketball were winner over the host Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA), 73-65 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Abington Heights for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Mentor will play a Comets team coming off a 63-37 non-league win over Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Comets record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Aliquippa falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Quips travel to Uniontown (Uniontown, PA) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Uniontown won 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA)
