The Arab Knights (Arab, AL) basketball were winner over the visiting Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS), 58-39 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Breathitt County for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Arab will play a Bobcats team coming off a 54-45 non-league win over Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Magnolia Heights falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS) to play the Patriots in a MAIS 5A District 1 bout on Friday, January 3. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Heritage Academy won 69-53 in their recent non-league bout against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS)
