California High School Basketball - Bakersfield holds off Davis Sr.

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Bakersfield Drillers basketball team scored a close 75-70 triumph over the Davis Sr. Blue Devils.

The Drillers (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Orange Lutheran nipped Frontier (Bakersfield, CA), 51-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils confront the Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Davis Sr. will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 74-68 non-league win over Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA).
