North Carolina High School Basketball - Hibriten toppled by Bessemer City

Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), 67-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bessemer City advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to face the Black Hawks in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Black Hawks enter the match with a record of 4-5. North Buncombe won 94-50 in their recent non-league match against Chase (Forest City, NC)

The Panthers now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chase for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Hibriten will face a Trojans squad coming off a 94-50 non-league loss to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-10.
