The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) and the visiting Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS), observed Caledonia's basketball team knock off Hatley by a score of 62-50.

The Cavaliers (12-2) will now prepare for their bout against Noxubee County (Macon, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Noxubee County gained a win over West Point (West Point, MS), 44-43, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Hatley falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Hamilton (Hamilton, MS) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-5.
