The Carterville Lions basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Fairfield Mules to 42 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Vienna for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Carterville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 76-34 non-league win over Gallatin County (Junction, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
