The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chaffey Tigers (Ontario, CA) and the host Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA), observed Chaffey's basketball team overcome Charter Oak by a margin of 55-42.

The Tigers (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Christian (Upland, CA). The Fighting Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Western Christian defeated Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA), 62-58, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Wilson Wildcats (Hacienda Heights, CA) in a Valle Vista challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Charter Oak will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 66-49 non-league loss to Walnut (Walnut, CA).
