In Friday's league test, the South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN) basketball squad got by the host Chisholm Bluestreaks (Chisholm, MN), by a score of 63-62.

Next, the Panthers encounter the North Woods grizzlies (Cook, MN) in a A Section 7 test, on Saturday, December 28. South Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The grizzlies come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 82-67 league win over Cook County (Grand Marais, MN).

The Bluestreaks (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Nashwauk-Keewatin (Nashwauk, MN). The Spartans come into the A Section 7 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Nashwauk-Keewatin was nipped by Northland (Remer, MN), 79-66, in a league test.
