Texas High School Basketball - Palestine holds off Coldspring-Oakhurst

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Palestine Wildcats basketball team scored a close 61-58 triumph over the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans.

The Wildcats (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crockett (Crockett, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Crockett nipped Elkhart (Elkhart, TX), 64-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Coldspring-Oakhurst will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 53-39 non-league win over Lovelady (Lovelady, TX).
