Georgia High School Basketball - Union County overwhelms Coosa

The Union County Panthers basketball team scored 90 points and limited the visiting Coosa Eagles to 51 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rabun County for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Union County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 81-36 non-league win over Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Coosa falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Murphy (Murphy, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 2-4. Murphy won 76-75 in their recent non-league game against Polk County (Benton, TN)
