In Friday's non-league contest, the host Dodgeville Dodgers basketball team scored a close 46-45 win over the Fennimore Golden Eagles.

The Dodgers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Baraboo (Baraboo, WI). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Baraboo was tipped by McFarland (McFarland, WI), 85-71, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest, on Friday, January 3. Fennimore will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Pointers come into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI).
