In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting East Poinsett County Warriors basketball team scored a big 73-45 triumph over the Gosnell Pirates.

The Warriors (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Earle (Earle, AR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) in a 4A Region 3 contest, on Friday, January 10. Gosnell will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record.
