The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Dexter (Dexter, MO). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Dexter prevailed over Risco (Risco, MO), 69-67, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Ellington Whippets (Ellington, MO) in a Black River challenge, on Friday, January 3. Van Buren will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
