In Friday's non-league contest, the host East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans basketball team scored a good 62-52 triumph over the Watertown Cyclones.
The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record.
In their next game, the Cyclones confront the New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Watertown will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record.
