Illinois High School Basketball - Elgin beaten by Shepard

The Shepard Astros were victorious over the host Elgin Maroons basketball squad by a final score of 60-45 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Astros clash with the Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 28. Shepard will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Grizzlies enter the outing with a 7-6 record after their 63-54 non-league win over Lake View (Chicago, IL).

The Maroons (2-13) will now prepare for their outing against Lake View (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Lake View was defeated by West Chicago (West Chicago, IL), 47-37, in a non-league outing.
