In Friday's non-league contest, the host Muskegon Big Reds basketball team scored a big 100-60 triumph over the Everett Vikings.

The Big Reds (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Jenison (Jenison, MI). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Jenison was trounced by Oakridge (Muskegon, MI), 69-63, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Catholic Central Cougars (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Everett will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 64-49 non-league loss to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI).
