The Mitchell Bluejackets basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Franklin County Wildcats to 62 in the Bluejackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bluejackets now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Shoals for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Mitchell will confront a Jug Rox team coming off a 41-38 non-league loss to White River Valley (Switz City, IN). The Jug Rox record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Franklin County falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Pike Central (Petersburg, IN) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28.
