Tennessee High School Basketball - Gatlinburg-Pittman nips Russell County

December 27, 2024: Gatlinburg, TN 37738

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders (Gatlinburg, TN) and the visiting Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), observed Gatlinburg-Pittman's basketball team edge Russell County by a margin of 82-76.

The Highlanders (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fern Creek (Louisville, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record.

In their next game, the Lakers battle the Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Russell County will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 59-31 non-league win over Jackson City (Jackson, KY).
