In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lake Cormorant basketball team scored a big 68-33 triumph over the Hancock Hawks.
The (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers go into the 6A Region 1 contest with a 2-12 record.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Hancock will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 58-28 non-league loss to Overton (Memphis, TN).
