North Carolina High School Basketball - Hough nips SouthLake Christian Academy

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Hough Huskies basketball team scored a close 73-71 triumph over the SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles.

The Huskies (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Mallard Creek nipped Concord (Concord, NC), 60-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. SouthLake Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Spiders go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC).
