South Carolina High School Basketball - Westwood thwarts J.L. Mann

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) and the host J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC), observed Westwood's basketball team knock off J.L. Mann by a score of 75-60.

The Redhawks (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, South Aiken dropped by Burke County (Waynesboro, GA), 81-73, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. J.L. Mann will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 72-34 non-league loss to Mullins (Mullins, SC).
